Two new images, woot!
BARTHOLOMÄUS BRUYN II (COLOGNE C. 1530-1607/10)
FATHER AND SONS; AND MOTHER AND DAUGHTERS
It’s very clear the gold flicky band is actually a return of a gold band right around the back of the cap on the girls and the layers of the sheer linen on the mothers head dress shows it’s not a simple wired frame. I’m pretty sure the frame works a bit like how I did mine which is a strategic pin to stretch the fabric over the forhead. Might see if I can do a video of this as it’s easier to show than describe.
CIRCLE OF BARTHOLOMÄUS BRUYN I (WESEL OR COLOGNE 1493-1555 COLOGNE)
SAINT JAMES WITH A MALE DONOR; AND SAINT ANDREW WITH A FEMALE DONOR
Her gown is deep red! So nice to see. Deep red, grey, blue seem to be the prevailing colours other than black in the region.
