Cleaned the majority of the oil off, but not all. It’s a balance of leaving enough so that the steel doesn’t rust, and so little that it doesn’t come off and ruin your fabric! Next step is to start adding in extra support for the upper curve and then start making the webbing/net which goes between each tentacle.

I do have a cunning plan on how to make them disconnect and reconnect.

My shell pendant is a nice shape and I’ve just mottled the surface so I can mold and cast it in clear resin. Probably acrylic as I haven’t used it before.  Fully prepared for a stink fest!
