Sooooo, yep taking the face off so I can mold the back and sides in ultracal and then cast in latex. Then I can slip the cast over my better headcast and sculpt the face, then mold that and cast that in silicone.

So this happened…. I still need to sew the wefts together at the back. But I also have to file down the sides of the horn base- they push my ears out.
Way too hot to wear these but hey. Good practice.
Might glue the horns in place which means… Yep. Gonna have to cast a new set for wearing with the helmet (which has been cut up the middle front but otherwise left intact.)

Love them, will shorten the front ones a bit but the colour just gets darker in pics which is great 🙂

Believe it or not the extreme sun is not helpful casting latex but this is the base hold everything together layer, next up is the evening and texturising.
The montral molds are in the pink bin. They are all different shades but they do match 🙂

Elsa raglan sleeve shape is basted on one side, Eddie Izzard is still on tv, okay our collection, and I really am now going to bed. Tested the dress, got a goood metal zip to tint but it is strong and brilliant.
But sleep.
