Inspiration: Woodcuts of camp followers c1520s

Swiss style dress based on multiple woodcuts of women who followed the landsknecht in their camps. The colour is conjectural and inspired by figures in paintings by Lucas Cranach. The colour in the paintings is most certainly a red cloth of gold, so this is much more of a fun take.

The wool was recycled from two vibrant coloured blankets cut to make best use of each. The wool is fulled so required no treatment when creating the slashing of the guards.
